PRESSREADER

The ‘Pressreader’ app is available to all registered library users and allows people to use a computer, tablet or smart phone to access publications from 100 countries and in 60 different languages free of charge. All residents need to do is be connected with the libraries wifi. Read instantly, or download for later.

Among its 7,000 publications are UK newspapers including The Guardian, Daily Mail, Independent and the Daily Telegraph.

There is also an extensive range of magazines ranging from the latest edition of Vogue and Empire magazine, to Newsweek, Gardeners’ World Magazine and this week’s TV Times.

It also instantly translates articles in up to 16 languages
